Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 or 3 pounds Ground Beef 
  • 1 Stack pack of Saltine Cracker 
  • 1 onion chopped 
  • Salt 
  • Chili Powder (Mexene preferred)  
  • Garlic powder

Cooking Instructions

Fill a large pot with about 2 quarts of water and add salt. Bring to a boil. 

 

While water is heating, brown ground beef with onion.  

 

Drain beef and onion.  

 

Crush a stack pack of Saltine Crackers into a fine flour-like powder. Using a rolling pin and wax paper is the preferred method.  

 

Stir the crackers into the meet and onions.  

 

Once mixed well add the meat and cracker mixture into the boiling water.  

 

Add a lot of chili powder and garlic powder. Chili powder and garlic should be added to taste, 

 

More salt maybe needed. 

 

Cook until thickened.
