<p>Fill a large pot with about 2 quarts of water and add salt. Bring to a boil. </p>

<p>While water is heating, brown ground beef with onion. </p>

<p>Drain beef and onion. </p>

<p>Crush a stack pack of Saltine Crackers into a fine flour-like powder. Using a rolling pin and wax paper is the preferred method. </p>

<p>Stir the crackers into the meet and onions. </p>

<p>Once mixed well add the meat and cracker mixture into the boiling water. </p>

<p>Add a lot of chili powder and garlic powder. Chili powder and garlic should be added to taste, </p>

<p>More salt maybe needed. </p>

<p>Cook until thickened. </p>
